Why Choose TP-Link Archer C64?
The TP-Link Archer C64 is a robust dual-band router that delivers impressive performance. With speeds of up to 867 Mbps on the 5GHz band and 400 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band, it’s perfect for bandwidth-intensive activities like streaming high-definition video, online gaming, and supporting numerous devices simultaneously. The inclusion of MU-MIMO technology further enhances efficiency by allowing the router to communicate with multiple devices at once, reducing congestion and improving overall network performance. Additionally, OneMesh support enables you to create a seamless whole-home Wi-Fi network by pairing the Archer C64 with other OneMesh-compatible devices
Step 1: Unbox and Connect Everything
- Plug the power adapter into the router
- Connect your internet cable (from modem or ISP) into the blue WAN port
- Optional: connect a LAN cable from one of the orange ports to your PC for configuration

Step 2: Connect to the Router
Use your phone or computer:
- Find the default SSID (Wi-Fi name) on the sticker under the router
- Connect using the default password
Once connected, open a browser and visit:
http:
//tplinkwifi.net
or192.168.0.1
Step 3: Login and Create Admin Password
You’ll be asked to set a new admin password to secure the router interface.
Choose a strong password and write it down.
Step 4: Run the Quick Setup Wizard
- Select your time zone → Example: UTC+02:00 Beirut
- Choose your internet type:
- Dynamic IP (default)
- PPPoE (enter ISP username/password if provided)
- Static IP (if your ISP gave you IP address info)

The image above shows the different internet connection types supported by the TP-Link Archer C64. Most users will select Dynamic IP, which works automatically with most ISPs. However, if your provider gave you a username and password, choose PPPoE. If they provided a specific IP, gateway, and DNS settings, use Static IP. For more advanced VPN setups, L2TP and PPTP are also available. Select the correct type based on your ISP’s requirements to avoid connection issues.
